The first thing comes to the mind when we hear Sachin Tendulkar’s name : “Sachin, Sachin”. And yes, we miss him. It’s already more than 3 years, Sachin Tendulkar retired from International cricket but stills he rules the heart of Fans. He recently launched his own fan engagement app “100 MB”. MB refers to ‘Master Blaster’ – his loving name provided by fan during cricketing tenure. The app will serve as a ‘digital inning’ for Sachin. One platform, One destination – whether social media or any other info related to him.
He himself along with versatile Sonu Nigam sung “Cricket Wali Beat” in the promotional music video. The animated Sachin in the video gave us goose bumps and chants of ‘Sachin, Sachin’ in the song once again made us relive the emotion. He credits his wife – Anjali as the inspiration for this initiative. In his own words “I was fond of music, but never thought I would sing a song. My journey started as a 10-year-old who saw India win the World Cup in 1983, so in my song, what I have tried to do is thank all those cricketers who have helped me realise my dream, six World Cups that I have been a part of,”
Sonu on the other hand said something special regarding Sachin – “Master is blessed. He can achieve anything in any field. He was pitching right in the music as well.”
So, why are you waiting …. You danced on every 4’s and 6’s of Sachin and now dance to his own tune..
